Get more out of life online!
5.3 million people have never been online in the UK and there are 11.9 million people who don’t have the essential digital skills to navigate life and work.
What is Get Online Week?
More than 12 years ago, a date in October was first marked out to bring digital inclusion to national attention in the UK - and Get Online Week was born. Since then the campaign has grown into a week-long, annual celebration, with thousands of events taking place each year in communities across the UK, giving everyone the chance to find the help they need to improve their digital skills.
This year, Get Online Week will return on 14-20 October. Barnet libraries are proud to be taking part once again with a series of events at Chipping Barnet library.
