Barnet Council will provide shoppers and visitors with free parking in all of its car parks and pay-to-park bays for four weekends this December.
The initiative – now in its fifth year – will cover the following dates:
- 7-8 December
- 14-15 December
- 21-22 December
- 28-29 December.
Geoff Mee, Barnet Council’s Interim Assistant Director for Transport and Highways, said: “This is a great way to give back to our community during the holiday season. We hope it will encourage residents and visitors to explore and enjoy the unique and diverse town centres of our borough.”
Please note that free parking only applies to council-operated ‘paid-for’ parking areas. It does not apply to permit bays or private car parks. Valid permits will still be required at these locations.
