Ask a public question at a meeting

One of the ways you can engage with the Council's democratic and decision-making process is to ask a public question at a meeting.

How to submit a question

Your question must relate to a decision that is being considered at a Council meeting. 

You will need to send your question to us by 10 am, three working days before the meeting. You may ask one question per agenda item as only two public questions will be asked per agenda item. We will send you a written response in advance.

At the meeting, you can ask the committee chairman one supplementary question per question, which will be answered without discussion.
