The Fast Track Service speeds up the administration and review of applications and pre-application submissions. Note that the Fast Track Service will not affect the consideration of your application. Fast track services available are:
- Validation of planning applications
- Advice on planning applications and advice requests
- Planning recommendations
- Selection of a case officer
Each request will be individually assessed and confirmation will be provided as to whether we can offer you the fast track service before we consider your (pre) application. We reserve the right to refuse requests subject to resources and availability.
Requests should be made prior to submitting the application, however if a (pre) applications has already been submitted and you wish to opt for the Fast Track service, we will need to review at what stage the application is and confirm availability with the allocated officer.
Each request must include the following details:
- Name, address, phone number and email address of applicant/agent
- Site address
- Description of proposals
- Reference of requested fast track service(s) (e.g. service 1, service 2)
You should email all requests for the fast track service before submitting the (pre) application.
Fast track services and costs
Fast track charges are payable in addition to the application fees payable under the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications, Deemed Applications, Requests and Site Visits) (England) Regulations 2012 or pre-application fees as listed on our website. We offer many fast track services with various costs.

Fast track payments can only be made once we have received a (pre) application and should be received at the time of registration of the (pre) application.
All payment must be made by card by calling 020 8359 3000 and selecting Option 2.
