2021 Civic Award Winners

Traditionally, the annual awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations from across the borough in two categories: 'Lifetime Achievement' and 'Outstanding Service to the Community'. Due to the unprecedented challenges the pandemic has presented in the past year, a new category, 'The COVID-19 Community Heroes Award' was created to recognise individuals and organisations who stepped up to help as part of the COVID-19 response.

Details of the 2021 recipients and nominees are available in the brochure:

Due to the pandemic, once again a Civic Awards ceremony did not take place. Socially distanced presentations were made in April and May by the Mayor.
