Civic Awards 2021 winners
Traditionally, the annual awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations from across the borough in 2 categories:
- Lifetime Achievement
- Outstanding Service to the Community
Due to the challenges the pandemic has presented in the past year, a new category was created.
The COVID-19 Community Heroes Award was created to recognise individuals and organisations who stepped up to help as part of the COVID-19 response.

Due to the pandemic, once again a Civic Awards ceremony did not take place. Socially distanced presentations were made in April and May by the Mayor.
