Town twinning
Barnet has links with 8 towns around the world. These connections were established to promote cultural, social and educational links between areas, as well as encouraging trade links and economic benefits.

Le Raincy Photographic Competition
This year residents of Barnet took part in a photographic competition with our twin town of Le Raincy and their twin towns of Caldas da Rainha in Portugal and Clusone in Italy.
The theme for the competition was 'Unusual Sights of My City'. The Barnet photos were judged by a panel in Le Raincy, Caldas da Rainha and Clusone using the photographic criteria.
Here are the winning Barnet entries:
1st place - Meir Berk - Tree Tunnel
2nd place - Robert Blyth - Vintage Car Rally
3rd place - David Loebell - Toadstool.
