Dear Barnet Council, I would like to request the following information: - A copy of the report about my property, Flat 3, 35 Alston Road, Barnet, EN5 4EU which was made after a lady from the "environmental department" attended the address around the time of November 2022.My full name is: REDACTEDAddress: Flat 3, 35 Alston Road EN5 4EUEmail: REDACTED I purchased Flat 3, 35 Alston Road EN5 4EU on 11th August 2023. I have recently had some work done on the property, however serious damp was found. I have been informed by my neighbours that the previous tenant "REDACTED" made a report to Barnet Council in relation to the poor state of the property around November 2022, as the the landlord was not sorting the issue. He was renting the property through Hamilton Chase Estate agents, and the previous owner/landlord of the property and current director of the estate agents is REDACTED.I am currently in the process of making a complaint to my estate agent as I was never informed of the seriousness of the mould and damp in my property when purchasing. I have photos from the previous tenant which support my complaint and how bad the mould was in the property, which is a real concern and serious health risk. The fact a report was made to Barnet Council supports the previous owner were very much aware there was an issue, and I still wasn't informed.
