The London Festival of Architecture has returned to Barnet for the 20th anniversary of the festival with an exciting programme of activities and events taking place across the borough, throughout June.

One of the first community events will be at the Copthall pavilion where there will be free workshops with the DJ Academy, football mentoring, food and wellness classes – you can even cycle your way to a free smoothie!

A Barnet Council spokesperson said:

“We’re calling on Barnet’s residents to join us in exploring interesting and creative ways to make better use of our public spaces.

“Bring the kids for, nature trails, a treasure hunt, cooking sessions with Bread and Butter, and exciting sports activities.

“There will also be the chance to engage in fun and imaginative discussions on the future use of Copthall pavillion to help shape this local community space together."

This is the second year that Barnet has formed a key Destination within the festival’s programme and this year will see over 50 events take place across the borough that respond to this year’s theme of ‘Reimagine’.

Building on the success of last year’s festival programme, this year will continue to showcase Barnet as a cultural destination, championing innovative, creative placemaking and public art.
